Calling all Casanovas and Femme Fatales to the Venetian Mask Party of the year! The Corfu Club presents "Mystique", the dazzling annual Venetian Mask Party to be held at Ipsos' leading music venue SOHO on Saturday 13th February 2010, starting at 10.00 p.m. and finishing late.

FREE ADMISSION to both members and non-members, simply buy your drinks at the bar.
Dress to Impress - "Mystique" aims to capture the atmosphere of carnival in real Venetian style. Guests are encouraged to attend in costume, or at least a mask with colourful party clothes. Those that really want to indulge in the spirit of Venetian masquerade can order masks and costumes by direct mail order from Venice from one of the following specialist outlets:

One of the main objectives of The Corfu Club is to recognise, support and encourage venues on the island that have made a serious investment and are trying to lead the way in their area.
Yiannis opened Soho Music Bar in Ipsos last year. He has invested considerable resources, time and energy trying to promote his venue, but all too often receives a negative response when he mentions that it is in Ipsos. Whilst overall Ipsos has been labelled 'yesterday's resort', there are some businesses there including this one that provide good quality facilities and service, so we urge you all to keep an open mind, put your masks and party clothes on and join us for the evening to have a fabulous time and show your support.

Following a visit to Venice a month ago where we met business owners involved in The Venetian Carnival, The Corfu Club is planning to build a strong relationship with Venice to share ideas, promote and expand "Mystique" as a major annual carnival event here in Corfu. This will include Venetian businesses promoting the Corfu event on their websites, as well as a potential exchange visits between Venice and Corfu in the month of carnival.
