Hi Margaret, I guess you have moved over to Corfu by now. Last year I tried very hard to get a Corfu Parent and Kids Network off the ground. Every week a group was meeting up in Barbati, where we had a bouncy castle and other toys and basic equipment. I endeavoured to set up a committee and get a club started, but other than myself and my daughter-in-law who has since gone back to the UK in despair, nobody would volunteer to help us carry it forward and so it fizzled out. Its a pity because I think there are a lot of mums in isolation when they need not be, but such initiatives require organised and motivated people to run them and it can't just be down to the same people every week. I think the Anglican church tries hard to organise things, but again they were experiencing similar problems I believe. Which primary school will your son be attending?
