Launched in early 2009 The Corfu Directory is unique. Designed to promote Corfu enterprises that offer one or more of the following: good quality, excellent customer care, unusual, authentic or cultural experiences and essential information; enterprises that strive to differeniate themselves and give their visitors a memorable experience. The aim is to create the most comprehensive information source of interesting and quality enterprses that the island has to offer and in so doing highlight what a desirable place Corfu is to visit and invest in.

The Corfu Directory is very user-friendly as every venue, store, facility and professional service receives a full web page comprising logo, contact details, 500 word description and 3 photographs to promote all that they have to offer. This means that those browsing for a service to suit their needs don't need to exit the site, as the information is contained within The Corfu Directory itself, it also enables remote or traditional businesses that don't have access to technology, or knowledge of technology, the opportunity to promote themselves on the internet in an economic way.

A booking period is for 12 months from the date a listing becomes live in The Corfu directory.

The standard rate to promote your enterprise in The Corfu Directory for the year is 240 euros plus Vat. If you are a member of The Corfu Club then you will benefit from a significant discount of 25% reducing the annual cost of your advertisement to just 180 euros plus Vat. 10 euros from your booking will be donated to a local charity.

Please note that there are certain categories within The Corfu Directory that are exempt of charges. These are not-for-profit organisations such as charities and museums, public services including but not limited to consulates, hospitals and medical centres, as well as those individuals that contribute to the cultural identity of the island, for example artists, sculptors, potters and those specializing in traditional crafts.

Professionals such as lawyers, doctors, dentists and other acedemic service providers are also able to list themselves in the Corfu Directory providing they publish facts about their services (contact details, location of office, qualifications, scope of work and number of years established) and not include self-promoting narrative. Providing these criteria are adhered an entry will constitute a directory listing and not an advertisement.

Each advertiser can select a category, upload a logo or first photo(jpeg maximum width 500 pixels), upload 3 further photos (jpegs each no more than maximum width 500 pixels), list all their contact details and website address if they have one and write their own description up to 500 words.
